Photos are made by Lieven Persoons, professional photographer and a member of “Preventie Lichthinder - Belgium”. My hobby is astronomy and in particular deepsky astrophotography... and of course I am also interesting in   lightpollution. I was coming to the Darksky Symposium in Vienna together with my wife Anne-Marie Jacob to attend the presentations of the scientific program and not for made professional photographs. Inspite of that, I have nevertheless made some pictures of the participants with a non-professional photocamera, Canon G9. Most pictures inside are made by ISO 800 and ISO1600. This year it was the first time that we could come to the symposium and I hope that we can coming next year to Ireland. Proficiat for all participants, the IDA and the people of the Kuffner Observatory !
